Thoughtful Journal

Write for us

Thoughtful Journal welcomes clear, original pitches about buying with care, keeping belongings useful, and finding resourceful ways to use what is already at home.

What makes a good pitch

Propose one focused subject and explain the reader's practical question, the central point you would make and why it suits Thoughtful Journal. Strong ideas have a distinct angle, useful reasoning and advice that a general reader can consider without specialist help.

Contributions we welcome

We are interested in explanatory pieces, careful comparisons, background on familiar materials and habits, and grounded guides to ordinary household choices. A pitch should be your own, fact-conscious work; disclose relevant interests and avoid unsupported product claims or disguised promotion.

Send a proposal

Send pitches through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a working title, a short outline and a brief note about your approach. A proposal is not a guarantee of publication; please do not send a complete article unless invited.
